The Irish Tuesday Club 2024





3rd January the club re opened after the Christmas holiday.

Every week we meet on a Wednesday, between 11.30 to 14.30 with

Tea, coffee and biscuits. We either have, line dancing, quiz or chair exercises. Followed by bingo and raffles.


The last Wednesday in every month we have a hot meal with bingo and raffles afterwards for all our members.




13th March we had our St Patrick's Day.

Hot meal, entertainment with lots of dancing, bingo and raffles. 

Also in March, we visited The Irish Heritage Centre manchester. With all our days out, includes, the coach, hot meal entertainment and usually a game of bingo. We meet either on the High Street, Wavertree at 10.30 or from the Irish Centre at 10.45. We usually get to our venue for 12 noon. We usually get back around 6pm.





On the 22nd of May, we celebrated our 40th Anniversary. We invited lots of different clubs to join us. The Consulate General Of Ireland, Sarah Morgan. The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Richard Kemp also came. The Liverpool Echo took photographs and they also done a write up in the Liverpool Echo.




The Irish in the UK made a program for their tv chanel, which was aired later on.

In July we visited Briers Hall Hotel in Ormskirk..Hot meal entertainment, and bingo.

September we are visiting Tiffany's in Blackpool. We will have a meal, entertainment, and bingo along with other clubs and guests.



October we are going to St George's in Llandudno. Hot meal, entertainment and bingo along with other clubs and guests.

November we are hoping to visit the Irish Centre in Huddersfield. This is still being discussed with their committee.

December we will be having our Christmas dinner. We have the room decorated. Christmas dinner with entertainment afterwards, followed by bingo and raffles.
