Desmond “Dessy” Roberts
Sadly passed away 15/11/20 age 79
With an Irish Mum & Scouse Dad, he grew up in Norris Green! Later, he moved up to L6 when he married Wife Jean in 1972 and lived in the area for the rest of his life. Father to 3 Sons and 1 daughter, but now reunited in heaven with Son Sean.
He loved being a member of the Liverpool Irish Centre, bringing home Irish sausages & black pudding from The Centre's shop and was happy he had somewhere to park his scooter (The Batmobile).
Mostly known for pubs he had across Liverpool & also known for drinking in a few too! Mainly O’Brien's Irish bar in Matthew Street, which he still called 'The Onion' from its previous name. He will be really sadly missed by all.
