Wolfwalkers - Anfield Peoples Cinema

Join us for a children's screening of Irish animation 'Wolfwalkers' as part of The Anfield Film Festival!

Join us at The Anfield People's Cinema Festival for this children's screening of the wonderful Wolfwalkers (2020) Directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart

In a time of superstition and magic, a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last wolf pack. While exploring the forbidden lands outside the city walls, Robyn befriends a free-spirited girl, Mebh, a member of a mysterious tribe rumored to have the ability to transform into wolves by night. As they search for Mebh’s missing mother, Robyn uncovers a secret that draws her further into the enchanted world of the WOLFWALKERS and risks turning into the very thing her father is tasked to destroy.

The Anfield People's Cinema Festival which will take place over 24th-27th September in venues across the community. This festival is the result of over 20 local volunteers coming together to make something great happen in our local area. To check out the wider programme please visit the link here

Anfield People’s Cinema is a volunteer-run film club which hosts free-to-attend cinema events in venues across our area of Anfield and surrounding neighbourhoods. Our goal is to make bring people together to enjoy and celebrate the magic of films on a big screen.

As with all our screenings there will be a free meal for all attendees provided upon arrival as well as a range of refreshements throughout the screening. There will also be a creative workshop before the screening starts.

This screening is free to attend but we do accept donations at the end of the event. Any money raised helps us to continue putting on these cinema events in Anfield and covers costs such film liscences, food and marketting.
