Sorry to keep you all waiting for the details on this but I wanted to make this show extra special; it’ll be my birthday after all!
So besides having a mighty full band in tow: @michaelpaulmetcalfe (drums), @awenmyfs (cello), @annamcluckie (clàrsach) and @_andyraven_ (guitar) … I also have a lineup of brilliant musical comrades to share the bill with us.
Scottish clàrsach player @annamcluckie will be performing a set of her own magical compositions from her album “the Little Winters” which comes out on 24th April.
Liverpool’s beloved early-jazz and depression-era blues quintet @bearcatgumbo will be giving us a right old boogie.
And the mighty Irish traditional flute and pipe player @ellen_mcgov - a champion of the Liverpool trad scene - will be kicking off the proceedings for us.
All takes place at one of the treasured pillars of our communities; @liverpoolirishcentre on 1st May.
Tickets are £12 (+booking fee) if you get ‘em in advance or £16 on the door. If you want to help us in our work then advance ticket sales are enormously preferred.

Sounds like an incredible night of music and community spirit in Liverpool!
