Hello from the Liverpool Céilí Band!
We are thrilled that the Liverpool Céilí Band has qualified for the All Ireland Fleadh for the first time in years! This is a monumental achievement for our band and a testament to the dedication, talent, and hard work of our members. As we prepare to represent Liverpool's Irish community in Wexford, we would appreciate any help to make this become a reality!
The All Ireland Fleadh is the pinnacle of traditional Irish music competitions, bringing together traditional Irish musicians from across the globe. Qualifying for this event is a historic achievement for us and a great opportunity for the Liverpool Céilí Band to showcase traditional Irish music in Liverpool and proudly represent Liverpool's Irish community on the big stage!
We will be holding a fundraising céilí and session at the Liverpool Irish Centre on Friday 26th July.
The Irish Centre continue to be a great supporter of the band.
We would love for you to join us at the fundraiser as a send off to Wexford!
However, if you are unable to join us but would still like to support us, you can also make a donation (however big or small) to our fundraiser.
The Liverpool Céilí Band is an amateur pursuit and we meet up to rehearse in our free time. Getting the band to Wexford involves significant costs, and your donation will go towards travel and accommodation costs for the band.
Thanks again for all your support. We are proud to represent the Irish community in Liverpool. We hope to see you on the 26th for an amazing night celebrating all that’s great about Irish culture.
