After many years touring very successfully as a solo artist George Murphy started a local session which ended up having guitars, banjos, fiddles, whistles, electric guitar, percussion, bass etc The Rising Sons were born. Taking this large ensemble on the road the lads have built a huge following in Ireland for their renditions of old classics as well as their own original material.
