Irish Language

The Irish language (Gaelic) is vital to ourselves and the people of Ireland. Here at the Centre we are embarking upon a campaign to promote the language as much as possible.

As well as our regular Irish language classes, we are seeking to make partnerships with Gaeltacht areas all over Ireland to promote the language this side of the Irish Sea.

Below you can find details of our classes and a bit more about our campaign. If you would like to get involved or want any more information, please email

The Gaelic Language Campaign

We are strengthening our links with the Foras na Gaeilge and on Saturday 3rd June 2017 were delighted to be presented with bilingual signs to display around the Centre.

We have a number of artistic projects planned, such as our Gaelic Garden, to promote the language even more. If you'd like to get involved or lend your support then please get in touch!
