Running For Ashling Murphy

Please join us with Liverpool Irish Rovers next Sunday as we run in memory of Ashling Murphy, who died tragically this week.

We will be meeting at The Centre next Sunday at 4pm and running around our local park (Newsham Park) then back to The Centre.

(Taken from the Go Fund Me page)

We are gathering (virtually) - next Sunday 23rd January at 4pm to run or walk 5k in memory of Ashling Murphy, who lost her life in an act of senseless violence on the 12th of January.

The proceeds of this fundraiser will go to Women's Aid and every donation will help.

More information about Women's Aid: Women's Aid is a leading national frontline organisation supporting women and children subjected to domestic violence including coercive control in Ireland. We run the 24hr National Freephone Helpline on 1800 341 900 and an Instant Message Support Service www.womensaid.ie.

We also act for justice and social change by raising awareness, advocating for legal and systems change and by providing expert training to frontline organisations and employers on how to respond to anyone disclosing abuse.
